Truss Head

A truss head machine screw is a type of fastener designed for use in applications where a low-profile, yet wide and rounded head is preferred. It features a head with a flat, slightly domed, or mushroom-shaped top and a large, low-profile bearing surface. The head is typically wider and flatter compared to other screw head types, such as pan or round heads. The design of the truss head screw provides several advantages. Its wide head distributes clamping force more evenly, reducing the risk of the screw damaging the material it's fastened to. Additionally, the low-profile head allows it to sit flush or nearly flush with the surface when fully tightened, which can be aesthetically pleasing and minimize protrusions. Truss head machine screws are commonly used in applications where appearance matters, and a neat, unobtrusive finish is desired. They are often used in electronics, automotive assembly, and various industrial and consumer product manufacturing processes. These screws are available in a variety of materials and sizes, making them suitable for a wide range of applications that require a secure and inconspicuous fastening solution.
